Issues

Being a member of Posh, Catherine supports all of the party’s ideas, but there are several (social) points of view she specifically stands for and wants to fight for:

More Security

Being a young woman I know the importance of security and safety very well. Therefor I am fighting for a safer city with a maximal occupation of policemen. This will make sure that young women like me, but also people in general, won’t need to worry anymore walking down the streets with a purse or bag filled with valuable items, or going to sleep at night fearing that uninvited visitors will tresspass their properties. I want policemen to be on the streets 24/7 to maximalize our security and safety.

Scholarships for everyone (not only for people with low incomes)

The decision wether or not to send your child to college shouldn’t depend on wether or not you are approved for getting a sholarship. Having been a student for several years not so long ago, I know the dangers of this system very well. It may lead to a concentration of children with scholarships and a minority of students who don’t get the scholarship. Therefor I would like to implement an equal division and acknowledgement of these scholarships. Even people with high incomes have a right to a scholarship. This will benefit the global education of the citizens and it will as a result make our BNP (bruto national product) rise because of the higher incomes of the people who have a university degree.

Wages for stay-at-home-moms

Stay-at-home-moms are working just as hard as other working women. My beloved mother is the perfect example of this. I believe these women are actually doing one of the most important jobs in our society: they are educating and raising children to be good citizens. Some women would like to stay at home and take care of their families but because they need the income the have to go to work. Therefor I believe that the stay-at-home-moms should be rewarded for their jobs by getting a nice salary for it. This will also make it less easy to discriminate these families with stay-at-home-moms and it will make the overall evaluation of these women more positive.
