Traffic and security
More security
We are striving for a safer city with a maximal occupation of policemen. This will make sure that people don’t need to be worried when they walk on our streets with a purse or bag filled with valuable items, or the fear that uninvited visitors will enter their homes at night. We demand that the policemen will be on the streets 24/7 to maximize our security.
Decreasing the taxes on SUV’s and 4X4’s
We believe that the current taxes on SUV’s and 4X4’s are really to high. These cars aren’t luxury products as some believe, but are chosen as the ideal familycar which offers a maximum on security and comfort. Because of it’s height, the space within and the wide frame of the car you can be sure that it is a safe car. By decreasing the taxes we will make these cars more available for everyone and this will improve the public safety on the streets.
Discharge prohibition 4X4’s in the citycenter
Because more people will be able to purchase a 4X4 to guarantee their safety on the road it would be really absurd to prohibit them to drive into the center of the city with their car. This would mean the discrimination of nearly 50% of our population. And we do not tolerate any form of discrimination in London.
No speeding tickets on highways during nighttimes
With a minimum on cars on the highway (namely between 12PM and 5AM) it must be possible to cross the 12Okm/h limitation without getting a fine. We believe that on these moments the speed of the car isn’t the main problem, but the condition of the driver needs to be monitored. We therefore fight for more alcohol controls in stead of speeding controls. Because, isn’t it more dangerous to drive 120km/h after 5 glasses of wine, than being completely sober and driving 140km/h on a highway without any traffic?
Administrative simplification
Discharging the property taxes
When people are working really hard they have the right to invest their earnings in for example a second house in a sunny city. This costs quite a lot on taxes. The logic here escapes our mind. Aren’t hard working people allowed to enjoy their holidays in their own little cottage? This is really necessary to restart afterwards with fully charged batteries and to go to work again.
Discharging death duty
Our parents, grandparents and other relatives have worked their entire lives to obtain what they now possess. We think it is outrageous that, when these beloved ones die, their family members need to give a giant amount of this to the government. This is taking advantage of the accomplishments of these people and they do not have any right to do so. We therefore demand the discharging of these costs.
Discharging elaborate procedures for the construction of pools, tennis courts,…
Citizens who can, by means of hard work, afford their own pool in their garden don’t need to be punished for this with long waiting lists and difficult procedures. We demand that these procedures will be simplified so it will take maximally two weeks for the administration to complete their files.
Social affairs
Scholarships for everyone (not only for people with low incomes)
The decision whether or not to send your child to college shouldn’t depend on whether or not you are eligible for getting a scholarship. This may lead to a concentration of children with scholarships and a minority of students who don’t get a scholarship. Therefore we would like to implement an equal division of these scholarships. Even people with high incomes have a right to a scholarship. This will benefit the global education of the citizens and the result will be a rise of our GNP (gross national Product) because of the higher incomes of the people who have a university degree.
Wages for stay-at-home-moms
Stay-at-home-moms are working just as hard as other working women. We believe they are actually doing one of the most important jobs in our society: they are educating and raising their children to be good citizens. Some women would like to stay at home and take care of their families but because they need the income they need to go to work. Therefore we believe that the stay-at-home-moms need to be rewarded for their jobs, and that they get a nice salary. This will also make it less possible to discriminate these families with stay-at-home-moms and will make the overall regard towards these women more positive.
Spatial planning
Golf courses for everyone
Some of our neighborhoods are known for their beautiful golf courses. Still they aren’t accessible to everybody because of the price tag that is attached to it. We suggest to create a golf course whit governmental support so more people will be able to practice this beautiful sport. This will benefit society because scholars have shown that sports reduces stress and this results in less ill people. Also golf is a beautiful and social sport. You have the time to work out and talk to a lot of people to broaden your social network. We are fighting against discrimination by looking for a suitable place to build a new golf course with profitable season tickets and democratic prices for equipment.
Better maintenance parcs, places and streets
Our streets and parcs are the bill board of our city. Therefore we believe that greenservices need to have more manpower to maintain all our lovely parcs. We would like to achieve the perfect streets with well maintained sidewalks and safe cycle paths. Also the lawns need to be well looked after, and together with the bigger parcs need to be redone in order to achieve a beautiful city. Besides the maintenance of the parc, the dirt must be taken away from the street by planting more dustbins which will be emptied every two days. This will also have a positive effect on crime and vandalism because a clean city keeps the criminals away.
